The Jeneba Project and EDWON are both active organizations and could use your support, so please take a look at their websites. The Jeneba Project: Working to rebuild Sierra Leone through targeted educational improvements. We have now completed construction on a senior secondary school and a library in Lungi, Sierra Leone. The school will house around 150 students, providing a much needed addition to the local infrastructure. For more information on this project please see the final report on the Jeneba Project website. Over the past three years we have raised over $30,000 to fund our projects and scholarships. Our organization is completely volunteer-run and all of the funding goes towards the work on the ground. At this point we're working to strengthen our organizational structure and applying for 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. Our current goal is to raise 120K over the next five years in order to construct a large senior secondary school based on the educational model of the United World Colleges.
